Cendol is a popular traditional Malaysian dessert drink. It contains coconut milk, a worm-like jelly made of rice flour (or traditionally, of green pea flour) and pandan extract, shaved ice and palm sugar.
One of the local foodies in Vancouver introduced me to this dessert drink at Seri Malaysia. It was delicious! I loved the taste of the palm sugar mixed with the coconut milk. It was a perfect harmony of flavours!
