2012 Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival – Ticket Giveaway!

The fifth-annual Banff Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival will be held in Banff, with the main event being the Grand Tasting Hall at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel – Conference Centre on May 4 & 5, 2012. Thanks to Brookline Public Relations, I have two(2) admission tickets to give away for this event. The giveaway tickets are for the Saturday afternoon session on May 5, 2012 (2 – 5 p.m). When presented at the door, these tickets will allow for complimentary access into the Grand Tasting Hall at the Banff Springs Hotel. Please note that tasting coupons are not included and all attendees will need to purchase tasting coupons separately at a cost of $0.50 cents each to use for obtaining food, wine and other beverage samples.  These tickets are not transferable to any other session. This is an adult only event. All attendees must be 18 years or older. Minors (including infants) are not permitted to attend.

To enter into this draw for the Wine Festival tickets, simply leave a comment in the section below telling me “What is your favourite wine, beer or cocktail drink?”. You will need to put a valid email address in the appropriate box when telling me about your favourite beverage (not in the comment itself), so that I can contact you if your name is drawn. This giveaway contest will close on Monday, April 30 at 7PM MST. I will hold a random draw and one winner will be chosen. I will contact the winner via e-mail that evening as well as post the name of the winner here.  Good Luck!
(Prize worth $54-$60)

Here is some more detailed information from the press release about the festival events that will be happening throughout the town of Banff that weekend:

The Festival will feature a sizzling array of culinary offerings, Friday through Sunday, throughout the town of Banff. The main event will be the Grand Tasting Hall at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel – Conference Centre, where samples of the finest local cuisine will be specially prepared by the area’s top restaurants over the course of three tasting sessions. In addition to all the fine food fare, Festival-goers will have the opportunity to sip an extensive selection of unique wines, high quality ports, fine single-malt scotches, premium spirits and import and micro-brewed beer.

It’s the perfect opportunity for a weekend visit to Banff or Lake Louise, as local restaurants will be adding to the excitement, hosting a variety of unique and tempting side events from rib cook-offs to lobster boils to winemaker’s dinners to clambakes.

Grand Tasting Hall event tickets are available online at www.banfflakelouise.com/wine-food for $27, or $30 at the door based on availability. Sampling coupons are available for purchase onsite for $0.50 each.
