Suggestion Box

So where do you go for your favourite burger? What was the best fried chicken that you‘ve ever had? What was the most memorable thing that you ever ate? I’d love to hear from you on places you’ve eaten at that have really knocked your socks off!

Because there are so many eateries and restaurants out there, it’s often not that easy to locate the hidden gems. It actually can be a bit of a minefield at times. So I’d like to find out from you where are your favourite places to eat. It doesn’t matter if they are hole-in-the-walls, dives, food trucks, or fine dining. And it doesn’t have to be limited to Calgary or Vancouver. I love to travel and might end up in that city in the near future that’s home to your favourite eatery. Please post the name of the eatery, along with the city, province/state, and also what the memorable item(s)/dish(es) were?

When in Calgary I eat regularly at The Mekong restaurant on International Ave. About 28th Street.
I love the curried chicken or goat soup. The price is too reasonable to believe.

Did you know that there is a German Schnitzelhouse in Lougheed, Alberta in the middle of nowhere. They are holding a Guinness World Record for the largest varieties of Schnitzel commercially available. They have 347 different Schnitzel. You should give it a try…
