Because there are so many eateries and restaurants out there, it’s often not that easy to locate the hidden gems. It actually can be a bit of a minefield at times. So I’d like to find out from you where are your favourite places to eat. It doesn’t matter if they are hole-in-the-walls, dives, food trucks, or fine dining. And it doesn’t have to be limited to Calgary or Vancouver. I love to travel and might end up in that city in the near future that’s home to your favourite eatery. When in Calgary I eat regularly at The Mekong restaurant on International Ave. About 28th Street.
I love the curried chicken or goat soup. The price is too reasonable to believe.
Did you know that there is a German Schnitzelhouse in Lougheed, Alberta in the middle of nowhere. They are holding a Guinness World Record for the largest varieties of Schnitzel commercially available. They have 347 different Schnitzel. You should give it a try… http://www.lougheed-hotel.ca
